Between buying a house which needs extensive refurbishments, changing jobs and an eight month old I haven’t had time to blog.

May be a while before I’m doing this regularly again as there’s still an amount of work to be done with the house and while I’m confident at the new job there’s always a sharp learning curve when you’re getting started anywhere.

Well, it’s not quite 80 hour work weeks but a project is getting near code complete for the first release so between that additional pressure and parenting time at home and trying to buy a house there’s been no time for posts.

Hopefully I will be back posting weekly by the end of the month, but probably not before that.

Yes, it is yet another why I’m not posting post.

So, just under one year since starting this blog. 46 (inconsistent) posts so far and I’ve finally made my own (very simple) theme. I call it … the theme… As you can tell I’m a big fan of easily readable websites. but as you can tell there’s a whole load of stuff missing from this theme that would be de reigeur for any real theme.

So I suggest you look at the actual word press site for a proper starting point.

Apart from that, one year still posting!! wee!! (still no comments though)

almost  two full months with no posts.

And so the death knell of the blog sounds… a single lonely cracked peal across a mist shrouded field…

Or something. Anyway that’s what you get with a busy social Christmas and hectic work new year.

Christmas was good. Surfing over the new year and every weekend since.

Off on holidays until March and if I can I’ll throw up some pics.
